Short version: I went to the gym and passed out, hitting a brick wall on the way down. I had a 2" gash in my head and got about 10 stitches. END.





LONG VERSION:

So I went to the gym with my husband yesterday...

I exercised on the bicycle machine for about 30 minutes, taking breaks in between. We finished. I went 7 miles and he went 10. We weren't even out of the room when I started feeling faint and dizzy. I went to reach for his shoulder and I ended up blacking out and falling. I landed face first into the brick wall (it was by the mirrors in the treadmill room I was in) and cracked my forehead open.

I hit the ground and was out for a second. I seriously didn't feel anything!!

I kept trying to tell him that I was okay, but he was all, "YOU'RE NOT OKAY, you're bleeding everywhere and you need stitches. SOMEBODY GET HELP!" He took such good care of me. When I hit, he picked me up, put me down, and applied pressure to my head (using my sweater, which I took off to exercise) while someone else elevated my legs. Before I knew it, the paramedics came in to look at me.

Hehehe, Sean was 100% more scared than I was! I almost cried 'cause I didn't like the face he was making. I wasn't in pain, but he sure was. XD

I was in good spirits because I felt like I only bumped my head (though, the smell of blood was pretty strong), so I joked around with the fireman and ambulance people while they looked at me They were so cool. Lol

Once I got to the hospital, the nurse was taking notes. She was all, "Girl, you're starting to weird me out! Make a whimper, or something!" XD I was even laughing and joking when they were giving me stitches. 'Twas fun.

The main thing that bothered me were the needles. ICKY. Otherwise, they could poke at the wound all they wanted. XD

No pain, no headaches, I say I'm perfectly fine other than the stitches.

There is a bruise on my cheek and my knee is a little swollen from catching my fall, but I'm a toughie, so everything is cool. XD

I won't exert myself too much, though I AM going to the store, today.
